VOLUME 7, NUMBER 8
Saturday, January 10, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

The school district reported on financial challenges involving the preschool program operated by Strengthening Rural Families at Clemens Primary. We have a preview of the next City Council meeting — a decision on utility rates appears on the agenda. The Philomath Fire and Rescue board will also be meeting on Monday. The latest OSP Log lists seven highway fatalities around the state. The county announced that a section of Cardwell Hill Drive will be closed for a stretch on Monday. And from last night, we have results out of a swim meet at Newport. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
