VOLUME 7, NUMBER 63
Saturday, March 21, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
Well, did anyone leave the baseball game early with the Warriors down 11-3 going into the bottom of the seventh? If you did, you missed an incredible comeback capped by A.J. Altishin’s three-run walk-off homer. This week’s Three Things column features forestry education, an interesting option for a day trip down Alsea Highway and a statewide award to a local veterinary practice manager. We also have the latest OSP Log and a preview of next week’s Inclusivity Committee meeting. Death notices came in for two Philomath residents — Barbara Trione and Zeeta Kotzbach. We also have plenty of partner content, including an interesting Oregon Journalism Project piece. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
