VOLUME 7, NUMBER 60
Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

The Philomath School District has been working on outlining staff protocols if faced with federal immigration enforcement on its campuses. In spring sports previews, the softball team continues to build, the girls tennis team brings back a lot of experience and the boys tennis team moves forward with a new coach. An annual report on the city’s drinking water has been released. The latest installment in the Mount Union Stories series features a Philomath-area farmer who died in 1895. In partner content, we have a story on the I-5 bridge replacement project and skyrocketing price estimates. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
