VOLUME 7, NUMBER 59
Tuesday, March 17 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
Philomath High sports are in the spotlight with a preview on the baseball team and reporting out of Saturday’s girls basketball trophy game at state. Season previews on softball, boys tennis, girls tennis, boys volleyball and girls golf plus a feature on the dance and drill team will be coming up this week, so we’re in a very busy stretch. In news, we have an item on school district teacher renewals, a Fire and Rescue Calls log that includes a car that hit a house and the latest Philomath Police Log. From partner content, Oregon Journalism Project has the latest in its series on the state of education. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
