The Park Advisory Board met yesterday with Music in the Park among the topics. The Philomath girls crushed Corvallis basketball and then learned it would play at Molalla in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the boys basketball team will head to St. Helens for its first-round game. The school district’s budget committee will meet Thursday. The city’s flower basket program is signing up participants. The latest Mount Union Stories looks at a 22-year-old who died in 1898.
