VOLUME 6, NUMBER 262
Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Good morning, Philomath.

A lot of news came out of last night’s City Council meeting and you’ll see a number of stories in the coming days. We start with the city’s efforts behind a community visioning project. In sports, the PHS girls basketball team is hoping to be in the mix for a state title and the wrestling team competed Saturday in its season-opening tournament. We have an obituary for local resident Barbara Melland. The region is under a flood watch. And the latest Philomath Police Log and Philomath Fire and Rescue Calls are online. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
