Good morning, Philomath.

Philomath-based Emerald Valley Thinning earned a state merit award for its work in the Coast Range. The high school boys and girls swim teams opened their seasons Wednesday with a home tri-meet. We have the latest BCSO Log now online and the agency is requesting the public’s help with identifying a man who was found in the Willamette. Plus, high school students are putting on a musical and we have an interesting Q-and-A with Attorney General Dan Rayfield, who not long ago served in the Oregon House representing a district that included Philomath. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
