RANDOM OBSERVATION: A thought this afternoon when turning off South 10th onto Applegate — I wonder if drivers take note of those homemade “slow down” signs (I’ve also noticed them on North Ninth and there are probably others). Maybe they at least get people think for a moment, glance at their speedometer and perhaps ease up on the gas. — Brad Fuqua, publisher/editor
