VOLUME 4, NUMBER 177
Saturday, August 12, 2023

Good afternoon. In the newsletter today: The latest Three Things column leads off with Philomath’s ranking of No. 4 on one of those “best places to live in Oregon” lists. Also, the latest Mount Union Stories installment features an Alsea man who died in 1917 and from our publishing partners, a story by The Daily Barometer about beating the heat in Newport and an interesting piece from the States Newsroom outlet in Montana about a recent otter attack.
Note to readers: I will be taking next week off to get in some R-and-R before school starts back up. You should still receive newsletters on the usual days except on Thursday.

Thanks for reading!
