Philomath High certainly did well at the Paul Mariman Invitational on Saturday. Congratulations to all of the coaches and athletes. The school will host another big meet on Oct. 29 when the Warriors host the Oregon West Conference Championships.

Gallery: Lilly’s Lope for Hope (Oct. 8, 2022)

The ninth annual Lilly’s Lope for Hope, a fundraiser for suicide awareness, took place Saturday morning at Philomath City Park. The event, organized by Paula May, is named in memory of her niece, 14-year-old suicide victim Lilly Stagner. The event included a 5-kilometer run, silent auction and an emotional story shared by an individual who has been impacted by suicide. Lilly’s Lope raises money to support mental health services and various events for students.
