Dies Month after Wife Passes—Andrew Jackson Williams, a resident of Philomath for practically half a century, died at his home in that vicinity yesterday afternoon, less than one month after the passing of his wife. Mr. Williams had been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected. The funeral will be held from the United Brethren church at Philomath at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, and interment will be in Crystal Lake cemetery beside the grave of the late Mrs. Williams. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Will Scott and Mrs. Lane, of Philomath, and a son. Mr. Williams was born January 5, 1835, and was aged 88 years. He was a well known citizen of Philomath and had a wide acquaintance in Benton county.
