U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley will hold a town hall meeting in Philomath on Sunday as part of his 2026 tour of all 36 Oregon counties.

The Benton County town hall is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Philomath High School’s auditorium.

The Philomath stop is one of three town halls Merkley will hold on Sunday in the mid-Willamette Valley.

“I’m looking forward to again visiting wonderful communities all over our state,” Merkley said through a press release. “By talking directly to folks in each county my team and I can go to work for the interests and needs most important in each corner of our state.”

Since taking office in 2009, Merkley has held town halls annually in each of the state’s 36 counties.

Merkley (D-OR) will begin the day at noon in Springfield for a Lane County town hall at Thurston High School, where he’ll be joined by U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle. The senator will conclude Sunday’s tour at 5:30 p.m. in Albany at Linn-Benton Community College’s Russell Tripp Performance Center, where he’ll be joined by U.S. Rep. Janelle Bynum for a Linn County town hall.

PHS is located at 2054 Applegate St.
