A Philomath-area winery plans to host a benefit from 5-8 p.m. Thursday to raise money for the Vina Moses Center, organizers announced.

Lumos Wine Company, located at 24000 Cardwell Hill Drive just outside Philomath, will hold “Viva Vina 2024: A Casual Benefit With Wine & Music” with a portion of by-the-glass and bottle sales benefitting the organization, which has been operating for several decades.

Snacks will be provided at the event and live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Ida Jane and The Weekend Gardeners performing.

The Vina Moses Center states on its website that the organization “helps people through times of hardship, engaging the community to build resilience and improve well-being.” Vina Moses provides no-cost clothing, household items, food, emergency financial assistance and more in Benton County.
