The Philomath Rotary Club invites the community to attend a presentation on Jackson Street Youth Services during its meeting at noon Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Peace Lutheran Church, the organization’s club president announced.

Ben Martens, community engagement coordinator for Jackson Street Youth Services, will give the program. Jackson Street’s mission is to prevent homelessness in Benton and Linn counties “by showing a path to long-term success through building positive relationships and teaching skills for self-sufficiency.”

In addition to the presentation, the Philomath Middle School “Student of the Month” award will be presented.

Lunch will be provided for attendees. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to rotaryfred@hotmail.com to help organizers plan for the appropriate number of meals.
