FRIDAY, FEB. 6
• 12:34 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at the Chevron gas station on Main Street. Upon arrival, the crew found that the fuel attendant had used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Firefighters confirmed that the fire had been fully extinguished and assisted with removing some items from the vehicle. Fire and Rescue’s response included seven personnel in an engine and a command vehicle.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 8:45 a.m. (Greenberry Road and Bellfountain Road) and 4:37 p.m. (Heritage Hills Drive).
SATURDAY, FEB. 7

MONDAY, FEB. 9
• 8:37 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm in the 3100 block of Main Street.

TUESDAY, FEB. 10
• 5:31 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grange Hall Road and Fern Road. Both drivers, identified by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office as a 54-year-old Philomath man and a 26-year-old Corvallis woman, refused medical assessments. Fire and Rescue’s response included two personnel in a command vehicle.
• 6:03 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a flue fire through an auto aid agreement with Blodgett-Summit Rural Fire. Fire and Rescue sent six personnel in an engine and a command vehicle and as part of a request, brought a thermal imaging camera to assist with the assessment. An investigation of the chimney confirmed that no further threat existed.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11
• 2:59 a.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm in the 400 block of South 19th Street.
