WEDNESDAY, DEC. 31

• 7:15 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash in the 24000 block of Highway 20 involving a vehicle that had gone off the road and crashed into a chain-link fence. The driver self-extricated and refused medical attention. No hazards were found with or around the vehicle and the scene was turned over to law enforcement.

• 1:06 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash on Marys Peak Road involving a vehicle that had reportedly gone over an embankment. Upon arrival, the crew found an unoccupied vehicle just off the roadway that had struck a tree.

• 8:25 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash on Chapel Drive near South 16th Street involving a vehicle that had gone into a ditch. Upon arrival, the crew found the driver talking to Philomath Police. A medical evaluation was declined. Police reported that the driver, a 32-year-old Seal Rock woman, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .15 through .19).
