FRIDAY, DEC. 12
• 4:15 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to the Corvallis Fire Department’s Station 2 on Northwest Harrison Boulevard to provide coverage while CFD responded to a structure fire.
• 9:42 a.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm at Clemens Primary School. Crews arrived on scene to a planned fire drill at the school. All units were cleared from the scene with applause from students.
• 3:26 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a small fire along a rural road in a ditch in the area of Southwest 53rd Street and Bellfountain Road. The fire was extinguished with no hazards observed. Firefighters reported that the fire appeared to be the burning of rubbish.
SATURDAY, DEC. 13
• No calls of public significance reported.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 4:19 p.m. (Bobwhite Place).
SUNDAY, DEC. 14
• 7:39 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a smoke investigation in the 2500 block of Main Street. Upon arrival, the crew found a campfire in a metal fire ring. The homeowner stated that it was a warming fire and was covered to keep embers from spreading.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 17
• 5:21 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of powerlines down on Neuman Road near Decker Road due to a tree that had fallen and was blocking the road. The power company was advised and firefighters secured the scene.
• 7:55 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a tree down on a powerline across College Street. The power company was already at the scene and firefighters provided traffic control.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 5:21 a.m. (Marys River Estates Road) and 6:47 p.m. (South Ninth Street).
THURSDAY, DEC. 18
• 3:27 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a single-vehicle crash at West Hills Road and Bullevard Street involving a vehicle upside down in a ditch. No injuries were reported. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the driver came upon another vehicle stopped on West Hills Road, waiting to make a left turn, and was not able to stop. The vehicle, a Subaru Legacy, swerved to the right into a deep ditch.
