SATURDAY, MARCH 7
• 5:14 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a motorcycle crash near milepost 2 on Decker Road. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the operator was a 33-year-old Corvallis man who was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with unspecified injuries. Fire and Rescue’s response included five personnel in an engine, command vehicle and brush truck.
• 8:18 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a request to go on standby at the Benton County Fairgrounds for the Corvallis Fire Department. The response was canceled en route.
• 10:08 p.m. — Firefighters responded through mutual aid to assist Monroe Rural Fire with a structure fire on Foster Road. The response, which included five personnel in one engine and a command vehicle, was canceled en route.

• 4:46 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm at Peace Lutheran Church.

TUESDAY, MARCH 10
• 2:24 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash into the garage area of a home in the 400 block of South 30th Street. Crews treated an individual for minor injuries. Fire and Rescue’s response included six personnel in an engine, command vehicle and brush truck.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11
• 1:42 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of an odor of smoke and possible structure fire at a residence in the 6000 block of Southwest Country Club Drive, Corvallis. Upon arrival, crews found no active fire on the exterior of the home and began an interior investigation. The source of the odor was determined to be a faulty water heater. The homeowners were advised to keep the power to the water heater off until repairs could be completed. Fire and Rescue’s response included nine personnel in two engines and one command vehicle.
