FRIDAY, JAN. 2
• 3:25 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Summit Highway near Devitt Road. The crew assisted Blodgett-Summit Rural Fire with moving the injured motorist to the medic. The man was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center via Corvallis Fire ambulance. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the motorist, a 32-year-old Eddyville man, suffered serious injuries.
• 4:21 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash in the 1000 block of Main Street involving a vehicle and an e-bike. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a 49-year-old Philomath woman who was riding the e-bike was transported via Corvallis Fire ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center with injuries. SUNDAY, JAN. 4
• 6:26 p.m. — Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched via mutual aid to the scene of an unspecified incident in the Alsea Fire District.
• 6:28 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a possible structure fire in the 500 block of North 12th Street. An investigation revealed that smoke coming from the building’s chimney had discharged embers and “additional fuel” was being added to the fire. No extension or property damage was found.

THURSDAY, JAN. 8
• 10:05 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of North 19th Street at the site of a fuel spill. Crews arrived to find a utility truck off the road and a tow truck at the scene. The pickup was reportedly leaking fuel into the ditch from a fuel tank in the back of the pickup. A containment boom was placed into the waterway to help control the fuel leak from spreading. Fire and Rescue assisted with traffic control.
• 10:30 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash at Fern Road and Llewellyn Road involving a vehicle with a driver and passenger that went off the road. One individual was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
