The Benton County Board of Commissioners typically meet for regular meetings at 9 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays each month at the Kalapuya Building. Holidays and special events occasionally forces the board to move a regular meeting to another date.
Beginning readers are invited to practice reading in any language to a trained therapy Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ Dogs) on the third Tuesday of the month. A permission form is required for children to participate and may be filled out on-site by parents/guardians. Limited spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
