The Corvallis Arts Guild will offer its first program in a three-part Discovery Days series Saturday at Philomath Museum. The free, all-ages family activity is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-noon.
This first program, entitled “ROOTS,” explores the root systems of different trees and plants with Starker Forests and organizers will lead participants through a family tree activity.
The second part of the series, called “WINGS” and scheduled for June 7, will feature a bird-themed program. The third program, “SEEDS,” will be July 5 and focus on the planting of seeds.
The series is being offered by Corvallis Art Guild in conjunction with its show, “Ancestry: Roots, Wings & Seeds,” which is currently showing in the Moreland Gallery.
