
Selected works of Corvallis artist Mark Allison will be featured in a new exhibit that opens Friday at the Philomath Museum, the Benton County Historical Society announced.
The exhibition, entitled “Mark Allison: Artist • Designer • Teacher” features his selected works from the past 30 years. Samples of work by his award-winning students, Sarika Kumar and Paris Myers, will also be on display.
Known for experimenting with different styles and mediums, Allison is a local artist and teacher at Linn-Benton Community College.
The exhibit will run from Oct. 22-Nov. 27.
The museum is open Wednesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
