The Philomath Fire and Rescue Board of Directors will meet at 3 p.m. Monday, March 9, at Station 201 for an agenda that includes contracts and wages.

Under the heading of new business on the meeting agenda, a review of the fire chief’s contract is listed along with discussions on a union contract and wages, benefits and cost-of-living adjustments.

The board will also receive an update on the fire district’s proposed five-year local operating levy, which will be on the May 19 ballot.

Members will receive reports from board members, Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson, Operations Chief Dan Eddy and office administrator Ashley Scott. Representatives from the Philomath Volunteer Association, the firefighters union and the City Council’s liaison are also scheduled for reports.
