The city of Philomath is accepting applications from bands interested in performing in the 2026 Music in the Park summer concert series.
The free, family-friendly concerts will take place in Philomath City Park on five dates — June 28, July 8, July 26, Aug. 12 and Aug. 23. All performances run from 6-8 p.m.
Bands of all genres are encouraged to apply. Selected performers will receive $300 per show, paid within 30 days of their performance date. Groups must provide their own amplification equipment and microphones, though power is available.
The application deadline is Jan. 26.
Officials noted that completing an application does not guarantee selection. Chosen bands will be contacted by the city and required to sign a performance agreement.
Applications are available on the city’s website and include space for band information, music genre, performance samples, social media links and date availability. Performers may choose to donate their compensation to the Philomath Performing Arts Benefit Fund.
Sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and individuals are also available.
