SATURDAY, MARCH 21
• 1:34 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 31-year-old Albany man on a probation violation during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Blodgett. The man was transported to Benton County Jail.
SUNDAY, MARCH 22
• 4:58 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Highway 20/34 near Philomath. Upon arrival, the deputy found that the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old Dallas woman, had veered off the westbound lane at a low speed and was stuck in a ditch filled with water. No injuries were reported.
MONDAY, MARCH 23
• 7:04 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 21-year-old Salem man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Highway 20 in Blodgett. The man was issued a citation in lieu of custody. The driver, who had been pulled over for driving 81 mph in a 55 zone, was also cited for speeding.
