MONDAY, NOV. 10
• 6:13 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on the west side of Fern Road near Grange Hall Road with a male driver who was reportedly injured. According to Philomath Fire and Rescue, the man was transported via Corvallis Fire ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. BCSO later arrested the 61-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and initiating a false report after he allegedly claimed that he was not the driver.
SUNDAY, NOV. 16
• 9:49 a.m. — BCSO reported coming upon a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Kings Valley Highway involving a motorist who reportedly swerved to miss a deer that was crossing the road. The driver, a 40-year-old Blodgett woman, left the roadway onto the grassy side of the highway while traveling east. The driver was reportedly not injured and friends towed her vehicle.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 19
• 6:05 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 21-year-old Lebanon man on a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for failure to appear in court during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Priest Road. The driver had been pulled over for traveling 85 mph in a 55-mph zone. The man was issued a new court date and cited for speeding, driving with no insurance and driving with a violation suspension of his driving privileges.
MONDAY, NOV. 24
• 6:14 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a dog that had been found on Highway 20 near Davis Road. The female shepherd mix had been discovered in the brush by a 19-year-old Tangent woman, who helped the deputy load the dog into his patrol vehicle. The weakened dog was transported to Willamette Veterinary Hospital and then to Heartland Humane Society.
• 11:49 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 37-year-old Toledo woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) during a traffic stop on Highway 20 about 3 miles west of Philomath. The woman had been reported as an impaired driver following a domestic disturbance in Toledo. Philomath Police assisted Lincoln County deputies with the disturbance investigation.
FRIDAY, NOV. 28
• 10:45 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of trespassing and a dog running at large on a residential property along Ervin Road. The deputy issued warnings to a 79-year-old man to refrain from going onto his neighbor’s property and allowing the dog to run at large.
