SATURDAY, JULY 6

• 12:39 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of vehicle break-ins at Alsea Falls. There were no suspects.

MONDAY, JULY 8

• 7:05 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of mail theft at a residence on Summit Highway. The resident reported that mail had been stolen approximately one week earlier, including a Social Security check.

•10:17 p.m. — BCSO responded to the 24000 block of Decker Road for a report that a man was on the property making threats. The deputy later arrested a 52-year-old Albany man on a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault, which stemmed from a case earlier in the day, and second-degree trespass.

TUESDAY, JULY 9

• 2:27 p.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 about 6 miles northeast of Alsea with both drivers and two passengers suffering injuries. The investigation indicated that a 68-year-old Alsea woman was driving east on the highway when her vehicle crossed the yellow line around a corner and struck a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Albany woman with two passengers. A 44-year-old Albany woman was transported via Life Flight helicopter to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. The Alsea woman was transported to the hospital via Corvallis Fire ambulance. The 24-year-old driver and a 45-year-old Albany man who was a passenger were transported to the hospital by a friend.

THURSDAY, JULY 11

• 7:33 a.m. — BCSO responded to a Lillian Drive residence for a report of threats. The responding deputy reported that a family member was angry and acting erratically but had not directly threatened anyone. It was determined that no crime had been committed.

FRIDAY, JULY 12

• 11:31 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 51-year-old Blodgett man near Main Street and South 24th Street on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants (blood alcohol content of .17%) and reckless driving. A deputy reported that he saw the motorist driving the wrong way on Main Street, turn without signaling and then go back onto the roadway without yielding the right-of-way.

TUESDAY, JULY 16

• 3:32 p.m. — BCSO responded to a Pleasant View Drive address for a report of burglary. The resident said that someone had gone into the house and stolen miscellaneous items. There were no suspects.

• 6:59 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 34 about 4 miles northeast of Alsea that injured the driver, a 35-year-old Alsea woman. The motorist lost control of a Ford F350 and rolled the vehicle off the road. She was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17

• 7:40 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 55-year-old Philomath man on a warrant out of Corvallis Municipal Court during a traffic stop on Highway 34 near Yewwood Lane outside of Alsea for driving 82 mph in a 55-mph zone. The driver was cited and released.

SATURDAY, JULY 20

• 1:12 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 35-year-old Lebanon woman on warrants out of Linn County, Benton County, Lebanon and Albany during a traffic stop on Highway 20 year Blodgett.
