The Philomath City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall to review the city’s 2023-24 audit report, listen to an update on the Millpond Crossing housing development and take in a presentation by the head of the local historical society.

Two proclamations and city management, financial and various committee reports are also on the agenda.

Jessica Hougen, Benton County Historical Society executive director, is scheduled to give a presentation near the beginning of the meeting.

Prior to the regular meeting, councilors will meet at 5:30 p.m. in a work session for “general governance” training with the city attorney. And after the regular meeting, the council anticipates going into an executive session to discuss legal matters.

The regular meeting can be viewed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
