FRIDAY, JAN. 31
• 10:48 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 56-year-old Junction City man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .15 through .19) and reckless driving during a traffic stop at the Greenberry Tavern on Highway 99W.
MONDAY, FEB. 10
• 10:46 a.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus that occurred at the intersection of North 19th Street and West Hills Road. The school bus was headed south on North 19th when a metallic red sedan pulled out in front of it from West Hills Road. The back driver-side bumper of the red sedan sustained damages, BCSO reported, but the driver did not stop and continued to drive off. The deputy collected broken pieces of the rear bumper of the suspect vehicle off the highway and took photos of the bus damage. There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. A 20-year-old Philomath man was listed as a person of interest in the case.
