The Philomath Park Advisory Board will continue discussions on the development of a park volunteer program at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
The discussion relates to a possible recommendation to be made to the City Council to add to the city’s strategic plan a goal of developing a program and establishing associated policies. The board had brought up the idea in June and the assistant city manager followed with collecting feedback from Public Works and researching insurance options.
Also on the agenda for the Aug. 6 meeting is a continuation of an effort to update municipal code.
The board includes Larry Sleeman (chair), Yvonne McMillan (vice chair), Scott Austin, Rose Bricker, Owen Cass, Tyler Pellett and Lindy Young.
