TUESDAY, JUNE 25
• 2:17 p.m. — A deputy arrested a 26-year-old Central Point woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Blodgett. The woman, who was also ticketed for speeding, was cited and released.
MONDAY, JULY 1
• 10:22 a.m. — A deputy arrested a 75-year-old Blodgett man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Priest Road. The man was cited and released.
• 2:37 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a burglary at a Highway 34 residence. A resident had returned home to find a teen juvenile upstairs. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the subject. The victim reported that nothing appeared to be stolen from the home.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
• 5:05 p.m. — A deputy was dispatched to an Alexander Road residence to take a report of fraud. The victim reported that he had attempted to renew a vehicle registration online but believed the $138 charge on his card to be fraudulent.
SATURDAY, JULY 6
• A deputy was dispatched (time not reported) to a Harris Road residence to take a report of fraud. The victim reported that he received a call from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office that he had missed jury duty and was ordered to pay $2,700 or he would face a warrant for his arrest. The victim paid $1,000 and then realized it was a scam.
TUESDAY, JULY 9
• 3:20 a.m. — A deputy arrested a 40-year-old Albany man on a warrant during a response to a home on Evergreen Road. A 41-year-old Albany woman had contacted law enforcement about people outside the abandoned house that they were staying in. Her husband was arrested on the warrant, cited and released.
