DAILY REPORTS

FRIDAY, MAY 17

• 5:34 p.m. — Police responded to a crash at Applegate Street and South 14th Street. No injuries were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included an informational call at 1:50 p.m. (Clemens Mill Road), noise disturbance at 7:39 p.m. (Applegate Street), phone harassment at 8:18 p.m. (North 19th Street) and a noise disturbance at 10:03 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 4:19 a.m. (Newton Street). PPD reported seven traffic stops.

SATURDAY, MAY 18

• 11:25 p.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old Corvalis man in the 2500 block of Main Street on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol under .08) during a traffic stop.

Other calls: Police responses included a disturbance at 3:20 a.m. (College Street), found dog at 10:09 a.m. (Quail Glenn Drive) and a found dog at 7:56 p.m. (South 14th Street). PPD reported 12 traffic stops.

SUNDAY, MAY 19

• 9:05 p.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old Philomath man in the 2800 block of Main Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

Other calls: Police responses included an informational situation at 9:18 a.m. (Philomath Police Station), found property (cellphone turned in) at 9:30 a.m. (Philomath Police Station) and a welfare check on a minor at 9:38 p.m. (North 18th Street). In addition, police assisted the Corvallis Police Department on calls at 1:58 a.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest 53rd Street) and 2:37 a.m. (Southwest Monroe Avenue and Northwest 25th Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

MONDAY, MAY 20

• 4:50 a.m. — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 3000 block of Main Street. No injuries and no property damage were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a mental health situation at 7:58 a.m. (North 15th Street), dog barking at 11:32 a.m. (Applegate Street) and a report of a possible driving under the influence of intoxicants at 10:56 p.m. (North 18th Street). In addition, police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a call at 11:31 p.m. (North Ninth Street). PPD reported no traffic stops.

TUESDAY, MAY 21

• 1:50 p.m. — Police responded to a report of threats made. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number. 

• 11:13 p.m. — Police responded to a report of harassment. An individual was contacted and instructed to cease contact with the other individual. No criminal charges were filed.  

Other calls: Police responses included a dog barking at 5:39 a.m. (South 19th Street), argument at 10:07 a.m. (North 12th Street), harassment at 12:55 p.m. (Melvill Cres), welfare check at 3:53 p.m. (Maple Street), found property at 4:17 p.m. (location not reported) and a suspicious person at 7:51 p.m. (Inspiration Way). PPD reported no traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22

• 10:22 p.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old Woodland man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) during a traffic stop on Highway 20 and Mouse Mountain Drive.

Other calls: Police responses included an extra patrol at 11:10 a.m. (Main Street), welfare check at 7:48 p.m. (College Street) and a welfare check at 8:35 p.m. (Cedar Street). PPD reported no traffic stops.

THURSDAY, MAY 23

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included an abandoned vehicle at 10:32 a.m. (South 17th Street) and a littering violation at 5:17 p.m. (North 14th Street). PPD reported nine traffic stops.

FOLLOW-UP REPORTS

TUESDAY,  MAY 14

• 4:16 p.m. — Police arrested a 34-year-old Philomath man on a fugitive from justice warrant during a traffic stop at North 12th Street and Pioneer Street. He was also cited for speeding and driving while suspended. On the warrant arrest, he was issued a new court date.
