Good Morning. It’s Sunday, June 26, 2022
At last, I’ve finished a story that’s been on my to-do list for many weeks about a pair of Philomath High graduates who participated in this year’s Boston Marathon. While writing the story, I listened again to the interviews that I had done last month with them — Josh Seekatz and Megan (Czerny) Hutchinson — and they just both seem like very nice individuals with great senses of humor. Josh, in particular, had me laughing on several occasions with his perspectives, including the ridiculous but necessary number of port-a-potties at the Boston Marathon (I left that out of the story). I had so much material left that I needed to write an accompanying blog so I could share his comical account of his first marathon when he was still a PHS student.
