The Philomath Rotary Club will host a meeting at noon Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church with a full slate of club business on the agenda alongside a guest presentation.
Members plan to discuss scheduling the installation of seven peace poles at Philomath schools and Philomath Community Services and are looking to expand the project by two to three additional sites through outreach to other local businesses and organizations.
The meeting is open to Rotarians and members of the Philomath community.
The assembly will also cover Rotary-sponsored programs, awards and fundraisers involving Philomath students, as well as ongoing conversations about how the club can engage with city and county officials.
Following the club business, Rotarian Don Rogers — a former exchange student — will share his experiences from the program.
A board meeting will follow the general meeting at 1 p.m.
Lunch will be provided and organizers are asking attendees to RSVP by contacting any Philomath Rotarian to help with meal planning.
