Strengthening Rural Families will host a summer gathering fundraiser from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at Lumos Wine Co. in Wren to offer an evening of wine, live music and community support for local families.

A portion of Lumos’ sales Friday evening will benefit Strengthening Rural Families, which is marking its 20th year of service to the community.

Attendees can enjoy live music from Mule on Fire and wood-fired pizza available for purchase from Mud Oven Pizza. Those who prefer can also bring their own picnic. Organizers recommend bringing a chair.

A silent auction featuring baskets and individual items will also be part of the evening with bidding open throughout the gathering.

Those unable to attend can still support the organization through an online donation (see QR code on the event’s flier).

Lumos Wine Co. is located at 24000 Cardwell Hill Drive.
