SATURDAY, JULY 5
• 2:20 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of graffiti sprayed on a barn on a property along Alsea Highway about 7-1/2 miles south of the Highway 20 intersection. The owner estimated the damage at $1,000 to repaint. No suspect was identified.
FRIDAY, JULY 10
• 11:12 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 24-year-old Corvallis man on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants (blood alcohol content of .15 through .19) and reckless driving following a traffic stop on Applegate Street near South 15th Street in Philomath. The man was released to a family member.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 15
• 2:58 p.m. — BCSO cited a juvenile for second-degree criminal trespass after contacting the rider of a dirt bike on Starker Forests property in the Flat Mountain area near Beaver Creek Road, which is currently closed to off-road use. The juvenile was released to a parent.
THURSDAY, JULY 16
• 9:27 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 55-year-old Corvallis man and a 42-year-old Portland woman on outstanding warrants after responding to a report of a disabled truck and camp trailer blocking the road on Columbine Drive near Finch Lane. The truck was found to have stolen license plates. Both the truck and trailer were towed.
SATURDAY, JULY 18
• 4 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Airport Avenue near Peterson Road in which the driver, a 68-year-old Philomath man, rolled his Ford Mustang while swerving to avoid a deer. The driver had minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital. No citations were issued and the vehicle was towed.
SUNDAY, JULY 19
• 9:09 a.m. — BCSO responded to a dog bite on Summit Highway just north of Blodgett. A 57-year-old woman sustained hand injuries while attempting to break up a fight between two dogs.
