FRIDAY, APRIL 24

• 3:19 p.m. — BCSO contacted two people near a Thompson Timber gate on Tum Tum Road in Blodgett who admitted to being on Starker Forests property without a permit. Both were warned for trespassing after deputies confirmed neither had a permit for the Starker or Thompson Timber properties in the area.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25

• 2 p.m. — BCSO took a report from an Alsea man at the Law Enforcement Center in Corvallis who said an unknown person slashed two tires on his vehicle while it was parked at the end of his driveway on Highway 34. The victim said he believed the incident was related to a separate criminal mischief event that occurred in late February.

SUNDAY, APRIL 26

• 5:10 a.m. — BCSO contacted two juveniles found parked at Ellmaker State Wayside on Highway 20 during hours when the park was closed. Both juveniles were returned to their parents in Albany.

MONDAY, APRIL 27

• 4:30 p.m. — BCSO responded to a hit-and-run on Bellfountain Road near Llewellyn Road in which a gate, gate post and tree were destroyed overnight. Neighbors reported the damage, and the responding deputy photographed the scene and canvassed nearby residences for camera footage. The damage was estimated at $600.
