The Philomath City Council will revisit proposed utility rate increases at its Monday night meeting with a possible vote to move forward with a finalized fee schedule. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Philomath City Hall.

A portion of the meeting will involve citizen appointments to the Planning Commission, Budget Review Committee, Park Advisory Board, Tree Advisory Board, Inclusivity Committee, Heritage Tree Program Committee and Public Art Committee. In addition, the mayor will share changes to standing committee and representative or liaison assignments.

Other items on the agenda include League of Oregon Cities Conference registration, a strategic plan review for the second quarter and review of a request for qualifications to go out for the development of city property at 1348 Main St.

Resolutions on the agenda include votes on a financial policy for the city’s operating fund balances, contingencies and reserves, and on an updated Water Management and Conservation Plan.

For those not attending in person, the city livestreams meetings on its YouTube channel.

Public comments are limited to three minutes and residents can participate in person or submit written comments by noon Monday.
