Mrs. Anna Armstrong Dead.

Mrs. Anna M. Armstrong, who died February 27, 1909, was the wife of W.D. Armstrong, who passed away 6 years ago. She has been a resident of Oregon for nearly 36 years. Since her husband’s death, she has made her home with Mrs. Arthur Bowersox, south of Philomath. The funeral services were conducted by E.E. McVicker, her pastor, who was assisted by Rev. J. Bowersox, of Portland, and S.M. Wood, of Corvallis, each being the deceased’s pastor of former years. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in Union cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong was the grandmother of Miss Jennie Bowersox, a student of Dallas College, and was well-known to a number of the people of Dallas. Miss Bowersox was called home only a few days before the death of her grandmother by the news of her illness.
