Philomath has a new option for coffee with the opening of Steelhead Coffee, a Sandstrom family business venture. We have a story and photo gallery from last night’s Philomath High boys basketball opener against Crescent Valley. The PHS boys and girls wrestling teams are getting ready for new seasons. Plus in state news, the rescue helicopter is headed back to Newport and Gov. Tina Kotek announced she will seek reelection.
