THURSDAY, NOV. 6

• 3 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Bureau of Land Management property off Botkin Road. The responding deputy found a conversion van and determined the owner, a 57-year-old Albany man, was camping legally. The man was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody for a warrant out of Corvallis Municipal Court for failure to appear on an animal cruelty charge.

SATURDAY, NOV. 8

• 12:30 p.m. — BCSO responded to a residence on Maxfield Creek Road for a report of a juvenile who had run away sometime that morning. The deputy found the juvenile at 2:37 p.m. walking south on Kings Valley Highway near Price Creek Road. The juvenile was transported back to the family’s residence.

TUESDAY, NOV. 11

• Time NA — BCSO responded to a report from a 42-year-old Philomath woman who lives at an address along Highway 20 that an unknown vehicle had hit and damaged her garbage container.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 12

• 1:50 p.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Summit Highway involving a westbound box truck loaded with food that went off the road when the driver, a 43-year-old Stayton man, lost control. The vehicle came to rest against a tree. No injuries were reported.

THURSDAY, NOV. 13

• 5:38 p.m. — BCSO responded to a crash on Kings Valley Highway near Labare Road involving a 22-year-old Philomath man who was driving a truck and towing a GMC Denali flatbed with a towbar attached to the vehicle’s front bumper. The incident occurred when the Denali’s front bumper detached and the out-of-control vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree. No one was in the Denali when it crashed. The vehicle, which was heavily damaged, was towed from the scene.
