Longtime USAID employee highlights May 20 Rotary meeting

The Philomath Rotary Club plans to hold its next meeting at noon Monday, May 20 at Peace Lutheran Church. The program will feature a presentation by Robert Thurston of the Rotary Club of Corvallis.

Thurston, a longtime employee of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will offer an inside look at the organization’s work from his firsthand experiences.

Also at the meeting, Rotary will present the “Student of the Month” award for May.

The meeting is open to the public. Lunch will be provided but for meal-planning purposes, organizers are asking attendees to RSVP via email to rotaryfred@hotmail.com).
