PHS girls basketball at Surf City Holiday Classic

Philomath High School’s girls basketball team is scheduled to compete in the Surf City Holiday Classic at Huntington Beach, California, from Dec. 26-30. Marina, Huntington Beach and Ocean View, all high schools in Huntington Beach, are hosting the tournament, which will features 32 teams competing across multiple divisions.
Philomath will compete in Pool 1 with Bishop Alemany, North HS and St. Anthony.
PHS pool play schedule: Dec. 26, 6 p.m. vs. St. Anthony (at Huntington Beach HS), Dec. 27, 3 p.m. vs. Bishop Alemany (at Ocean View HS) and Dec. 29, 6 p.m. vs. North HS (at Ocean View HS). Trophy-round games are scheduled for Dec. 30 at all three sites.
