MEET NOTES
• The state meet had originally been planned for Tillamook but it was moved to Eugene because of a lower COVID risk level.
• The course begins in an open field area on campus and ends on the Marist track.
• Heading into the meet, Philomath’s boys rank No. 3 in a hypothetical Class 4A meet behind Hidden Valley and Siuslaw and ahead of Tillamook.
• Philomath’s top five runners for the boys this season have been Brody Bushnell, Grant Hellesto, Mateo Candanoza, Levi Knutson and Jesse Erickson. Ben Hernandez and Justin Enghauser are also varsity-level runners.
• Philomath’s top five runners for the girls this season have been Ingrid Hellesto, Kaeleigh Houchin, Alexa Eckhold, Phoebe Coen and Danielle Harris. Heading into the meet, the girls rank No. 9 in a hypothetical 4A meet.
• Based on updated OSAA guidelines, an unlimited number of spectators will be allowed to watch.
• For those who can’t make it to the meet, live results with team scores will be available at 0.2 mile, 1 mile, 2 miles and 2.8 miles at https://live.
