The Philomath Rotary Club invites community members to attend its meeting at noon Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, the organization’s club president announced.
The meeting will include discussions on several ongoing community service projects, including the installation of peace poles at five school sites and one at Philomath Community Services.
Members will also hear continued planning updates for the 24th annual Salmon and Jazz fundraiser event scheduled for April 18.
Fred Shaub, club president, said the main focus of the meeting will be the city of Philomath’s Community Vision 2050 stakeholder process. Rotary Club representatives Robert Hulshof-Schmidt and Rebecca Sweet will discuss the organization’s goals in advance of a scheduled 15-minute video interview with the city.
Lunch will be provided. Those planning to attend should RSVP to rotaryfred@hotmail.com to help organizers plan meal counts.
A Rotary club board meeting will follow at 1 p.m.
Peace Lutheran Church is located at 2540 Applegate St. in Philomath.
