Good morning, Philomath.

The rivalry between law-enforcement agencies gets heated during the chili cook-off (but it’s all in good fun). Yesterday’s storm that rolled through led to an early ending for the PHS girls soccer game. The School Board plans to meet Thursday. The volleyball team won its home opener. We have a death notice for Phillip Balmer. And the latest in the Mount Union Stories series has been posted. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
