DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be hosting Choro na Cozinha on Saturday\, September 19th from 2-4pm! (This event is weather dependent). \nChoro na Cozinha (“Choro in the Kitchen”) plays a Brazilian urban popular music style known as Choro\, melding Afro-Brazilian rhythms with European-influenced form and harmonies. \nThe music ranges from lively\, to heartfelt\, with melodies that celebrate and also express deep longing and beauty. \nThe trio is Kimberly Cullen (vocals & percussion)\, Bill Pfender (clarinet & vocals) and John Bliss (guitar & bandolim). \nBring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a glass of wine and some great tunes. Picnics encouraged!\nThis is a free concert and all are welcome! \nThe Majahua Authentic Mexican Food Truck is scheduled to be at Lumos on Sept. 19 from noon-6 p.m.
