Mark your calendars for Saturday\, April 19th \nACCEPTED MATERIALS: Untreated wood\, scrap metal\, yard debris\, computer/electronic equipment\, cardboard\, and any other materials not specifically listed below as not acceptable. \nACCEPTED WITH NO FEE: Appliances and items containing Freon will be accepted. Examples: Refrigerators\, freezers\, air conditioners. \nNOT ACCEPTED: Household garbage\, car batteries\, tires\, motor oil\, propane tanks\, gas cans\, large/bulky items (mattresses\, couches\, chairs\, patio furniture\, plastic pools\, etc.)\, and hazardous waste materials such as used paint\, insecticides\, or cleaning agents. Note: Vehicles with household garbage and/or garbage bags may be turned away. \nThis cleanup opportunity is free for residents who live within the Philomath city limits. Please bring proof of residency (utility bill) with you. \nContact: \nFor questions\, call Public Works at 541-929-3579. \nDirections: \nIndustrial dumpsters will be available in the Public Works yard. The entrance for the event will be located on the end of South 16th Street. There will be two City employees there to verify that you are a Philomath resident and that you have recyclable items. DESCRIPTION:Held the first Friday of each month (excluding July and August)\, the dinner began in 1987 as a means of funding parsonage property taxes. Dinners are open to the public. The meal consists of an omelet (made while you watch) with your choice of fillings (ham\, green onion\, green peppers\, mushrooms\, cheddar and/or Jack cheese)\, homemade scones\, fresh fruit and a beverage. If you are real hungry\, sausage gravy and scones are available for purchase. Homemade desserts can be enjoyed for a donation. \nIn April\, omelets are replaced with our annual Spaghetti Dinner.
