DESCRIPTION:The Benton County Genealogical Society presents “Forgotten Oregon Stories: Bringing Oregon History to Life\,” a free talk by Roen Hogg. \nHogg is an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot who combines aerial photography with historical research to tell the stories of Oregon’s people and places. His “Forgotten Oregon Stories\,” created for YouTube\, illustrate how historic diaries\, photographs\, early newspapers and vintage maps are used with modern technology and cinematic storytelling to explore the places where history really happened. \nThe presentation will be held on the second floor of the Philomath Museum. A wheelchair ramp is located at the northeast corner of the building. Please do not bring food or drinks into the museum.
