SUMMARY:Chalk Roundup at the Library
DESCRIPTION:Each year the Philomath Library hosts the Frolic Chalk Round-up in front of the library building. Upon arriving\, artists of all ages\, abilities\, and imaginations register and given a 5 ft. x 5 ft. section of sidewalk to color. All chalk is provided\, but participants may use their own as well. This is not so much a competition as it is an opportunity to have some fun\, be creative\, and show off your artwork to the community during the rest of Frolic weekend. \nThis year’s event is Friday\, July 10\, 2026\, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Rodeo Queen and Princess will be judging winners at 11:00am.\nNo pre-registration required.\nNo fee for participation. \nThe top artists from each age group will receive the following prizes: \nAge groups:\n0-5 $10 Dairy Queen Gift Card\n6-12 $10 Dairy Queen Gift Card\n13-17 $20 Frolic & Rodeo Souvenir Shack gift certificate\n18-97 $20 Frolic & Rodeo Souvenir Shack gift certificate \nThis year\, the Frolic is celebrating its 72nd anniversary\, and the theme is “Frolic in the USA”

DESCRIPTION:Join us for 3 days of action packed NPRA sanctioned rodeo performances. \nThursday July 9th is Family Day where you can enjoy fun activities for the entire family\, including our All Ages Afterparty located in our Yew Wood Corral beer gardens\, complete with a DJ\, photobooth\, and dirty sodas. \nFriday July 10th and Saturday July 11th join us for our 21+ Afterparty in the Yew Wood Corral beer garden to dance and sing along with the live musical performance by the band Countryfied. Tickets for the rodeo and Afterparty Dance are available for purchase using the link on the page. \nGates open at 5pm rodeo starts at 7pm\, Rodeo Afterparty starts immediately following the rodeo ~9pm \nTickets can be purchased here.
